Default funny thing about my camera post....

Could have sworn I put it here in the TT forum, especially considering it was full of TT content, what with the camera being bought to take pics of the TT, and mention of my laptop I'm buying, the one I plan to use almost exclusively in the TT. Just posted a little more to that thread, some stuff about my rear diff swap, and photographing the process. You know, the diff swap I'm doing in my TT...

I <3 moderators.

Eh. Mods here aren't bad. Over on Vortex they can get annoying.

I started a thread about a video...
http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3746676

...and Harv locked it because of "TT content?" Yeah if you click the link there's a video with a blatant TT in it. I reported a post and called a spammer a cünt in the report and 16v got on me as if nobody swears on Vortex, telling me to drop the "tough guy talk."

I'm still quite adamant about the TT section self-moderating itself. We're all civil, theres rarely issues, and if it really comes to needing something to happen, all it takes is a PM to one of the A4 mods to take care of things.

Its nothing personal, I just don't think I need my posts messed with if I'm not being offensive/spamming/threatening.

The irony was just pointed out to me, as my thread was moved, but a thread asking when a timing belt should be changed was left alone. Theres more content to my post than there was to that, maybe that should be moved to the 'general tech' section?

Maybe they should all be left alone...

It's now a judgement call on what defines an acceptable post.

Easier to define whats NOT an acceptable post...

offensive/spamming/threatening.

If its not going to upset someone, its not a problem. Pretty simple.

Oh for christ sakes Matt, you are the only one starting crap about things not TT related and still doing it to make me look like an *** hole. Im sick of it. Seriously, stop trying to loop hole everything and there wont be any problems. BTW, there was 0 TT or car content in the thread.

Just please stop. This is the TT section and will be kept that way.

One more thing, people starting threads complaining about ones that were locked, moved, or deleted need to stop this crap also. If you have a problem, send me a pm and stop causing more unneeded conflict
