You have the same wheels I do I think. Except mine are anthracite instead of black. ASA AR9's?

lol. Its going to be a lot more involved than just taking off the ring cover and putting a gate on. If I can get a hold of a spare shifter from a part out or something I may try reducing the diameter of the shaft. But since I only have 1 car atm I cant tare mine apart that much so it may happen if I can get the part or once I get another ride

**** THAT!! Do it!! Rip your car apart!! LOL just kidding. But for real, start fabricating. Use cardboard, and just start shaping and cutting. Although I'm not convinced that it can really be done, given the shift angles when in gear.

I did try cardboard, thats what told me the shaft diameter will need to be reduced like I said otherwise the gates will be like 1/16" apart. Anything can be done.

if i get called up to do more welding on my buddies track car tomorrow, i'll get some measurements/pics of the gate in my other friends ferrari. maybe it'll help you figure something out.
