Default Gremlins?

I seem to have an electrical gremlin in my TT. [>:]

When I first got it, the pass. door window didn't work. Then suddenly it did a week later, but the auto up/down feature didn't. Then when it did the driver's window auto up/down stopped. Now the driver's window doesn't move - thank gawd it was up when that happened! [:@]

Is this a cyclic glitch in the software or do I need an exorcist?

just your basic TT gohst, my drivers side window did the same thing, and then my gas cap button and trunk button stopped working and several days later everything was fine. The car seems to work out its own problems.

Maybe check the fuses?
I have no idea but it sounds like a good place to start looking... right?

Yeah my passenger side windows works intermittantly. It's dead 95% of the time I've owne the car within the past 3 weeks. Damn Audi demons.

On my Mercedes(s), this problem has actually been the connection in the switch itself. However, if it's happening intermittently among different switches, it may be some relay or something... I'm not quite sure about these cars, but my first guess would be the switch (from experience).

A good way to tell is fiddle with the switch, see if applying (a small amount of) force helps at all (maybe the lead is just not being contacted).

I could be completely wrong, though. Hey, at least I'm honest, right?

Have your comfort control module checked out mine was doing the same and then it stopped working all together.
