I posted not to long ago that my pass. side low beam was blinking constantly, well itfinally quit lighting up,but im pretty sure the bulb is still good. Well i got to looking at the h/l assembly today and if you pull the little red cap off the connector is melted! cani just buy a new pig tail for the light or do i need to buy a new assembly? Could the ballast be going bad andgetting too hot? Is therea relay or resistoror something that has went bad? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

My car has the same problem.
It seems to be the ballast in my situation.
You can get them for about thirty dollars depending on the website.
I searched for this same topic here in AF and a couple threads pop up with the website with cheap ballast.
I plan on upgrading the ballast to a 55w ballast.

 

my driver side went out a few weeks ago and now my passenger is on its way out.

they both have turned pink right before they went out, the passenger one just started last night, so it should be out within the next couple nights of driving. could that be the bulb or something else.
