My heater blower stopped working last week and after looking around a few forums I was able to remove the unit for replacement. Its pretty easy and nothing to be worried about.

I took a short video on the mobile whilst I was doing that so I've taken the time to post it here in the hope that somebody might find it useful.

I have an Audi TT TFSI 2010 (8J), but I believe a number of other models are very similar.

Removing the glove box was really easy, just removed six bolts and gently pulled the glove box to remove it. Then carefully unplugged the connector at the back. The blower unit just needs its connector removing and then simply twists out.
