Default Help needed with two problems

(1) Both of my 05 TT indicator lights stay on and do not go on and off as they should when signaling left or right turns.

(2) My MPG is bouncing all over the place and I will try to use the wiper arm to control this but I am also wondering if this might have anything to do with the Class Action Suit of CA that I received back in March 2008 involving the instrument cluster that required repair or replacement. (AUDI TT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER SETTLEMENT)

1. replace your hazard switch. Its easy to do yourself. Search the forum for a writeup on how to do.

2. Theres two mpg gagues. One is instant mpg. This one jumps all over all the time, its normal. The other is average mpg. This one should stay steady. Make sure your looking at the right one. Its not related to the insterment cluster

The lights corrected themselves within one day and the gauge is now operating ok as well after using a button in the wiper arm since I read the manual.

Lets hope this is the end of it all since I don't have to go into the dealer until I hear from them regarding the recall for the change of the ignition coil inspection/replacement....
