Alrite well after messing around with the emergency flashers, I got the lights to go out. I had to pull the window motor off to get the window back up. It looks as if the wires off the whatchamacallit came un-spooled and got twisted. The motor only spins one way (down) so I figure I should start by swapping out the motor. What the best place to pick up an inexpensive (or the most cost effective)? I'm not expecting cheap, but not stealership prices anyway.
