daily driven 2001 180TTQ: ~60k miles... timing belt time .

What.. daily driving = back out of driveway, pull back in?

 

Daily driven with 60K and I'm confused why I have to change my timing belt soon. i talked to the Audi Dealer and they said they don't change them until 100K. So why would i change this??

 

I daily drive it, the previous owner put ~11500 on it in 5 years... I got itend of april.

 

you obviously didn't do any research before buying your TT. If you're past 60k with original timing belt your "driving on borrowed time."

Audi REFUSES to accept that their timing belts break early.

I guess we haven't had a lot of Timing Belt threads lately either.

I think i have you all beat 01 tt 225 just turned over113,000 got it with 100,000 on it on January 31

Tach and Speedo stopped working: around $150
ABS Control Module: $1800

I think thats it.
