First post congrats and welcome!!! The mass air flow sensor can be changed yourself with two or three tools. Nothing special to it. You are walking on thin ice with 65k and no timing belt done yet. Might want to check into that pretty soon!

As far as repairs go:
Just did the timing belt
Coolant temp sensor
Power mirror switch (broke the head off)
Sway bar bushings
Had to pull the blower motor. Some insulation got sucked in somehow.

Need to fix the rattleing in the rear hatch, is driving me crazy
Also need to fix the drivers seat. The seat back won't stay in the same place. It slowly moves back a little as you drive.

Ya.......I really wanna get the timing belt change asap, but for fixing the leak in hydraulic system cyclinder and change the clutch disc already cost me $2700~~~~ I'm broke now

my budget just enough for the maf now, just bought it online and hopefully can get it change next week.

Not a prb man, just be careful as soon as you get the money, www.dieselgeek.com is the place for the best timing belt kit out there. Good luck and drive really really carefully....

I think i have you all beat 01 tt 225 just turned over113,000 got it with 100,000 on it on January 31

Tach and Speedo stopped working: around $150
ABS Control Module: $1800

I think thats it.

Nope, sorry....

2001 225 - 116,000 got it in April I think... 109,000 miles
Haldex controller was bad, leak detection pump is bad, Vag says 'short to +' on fuel sender, after run coolant pump leaks, and the sensor that drops the window on the pass door latch is bad/needs adjusting.

I did pay $10,450 for it though, so I can't complain too much.
