I’m starting to like the local stealership…
I’ve heard a lot of bad things on here about various Audi dealerships, but I think I’m going to get along just fine with my local Audi dealer. I took my TT in for its 40k mile service and a couple other things back in late March. The dealership called me the other day and said that they were going through their records and they discovered that they overcharged me by $30 and that they would be sending out a refund check immediately. Thirty dollars is not that big of deal and I probably wouldn’t have ever noticed the mistake, but the fact that they were honest really impressed me. It impressed me so much that I thought I'd share my story!
haha yeh thats pretty rare... ok maybe REALLY rare! I try and stay on pretty good terms with my local dealer incase I ever need anything. they know me pretty well lol.
In NC the dealer is 1.5 hours from me and there not to helpfull/very shady on the other hand when I took my car home to oregon the local dealer was very nice and actually told me that I was trying to order the wrong part then installed it for free so no complaints there but pretty much everything in NC sucks when compared to OR from my personal experience
My two local dealers are great. I use to live 5 hrs away and I had to order parts over the phone. Well once they sent me the wrong part in the supposed correct part bag... It was $7, so they sent me a correct one, I kept the incorrect one, and they sent me another part that was $67 that I needed at no charge for my troubles! So I move to the cities, and I go there and they give me decent prices and loaner vehicles if needed w/o hesitation! So, I like my local ones thus far!
Mine seemed honest too until I noticed after picking it upof an entry on my GPS to a location downtown that I didn't put in.
No body had an explanation for that. I figured someone at the shop was playing with it (at best) or someone took it home one night (at worst). I noticed a lot of mileage on it too, like 25-50 miles. They said they needed to drive it that much to test it.
Regardless they didn't count on the GPS keeping a memory, or my memory of the last mileage mark.
As Nick Cage says.... Not cool!
