Plus i would be risking engine damage if i run out while driving, so i don't know. i think it would be a great idea, i could advance my timing and run a little more boost, but i don't want to blow up the turbo lol.
who told you that? You would get far cooler temps and increase timing. With tuning or a race file you should see close to 20whp gain. Its the biggest gain besides a chip and tbe.
You dont risk any damage, the extra timing would be pulled by the ecu if you run out. But you can install a low level light or use the ww res to monitor levels. Running 25-26psi on a ko4 isnt that much.

i thought i was fed bad info also, but i don't think you should do mods like this unless you ask lots of questions and get the right answers. Im actualy going to go this route now and spend some money on a snow performance kit, hey can you answer my question in the other thread thanks.
Hey cincy or anyone, is there any benefit to adding an oil cooler, and what about aftermarket cams and cam gears?

no need for an oil cooler unless you run long track days. Cams and gears are worthless until you arepushing a gt30 series turbo. The only thing you can do to the engine would be to increase displacement. A big port head or port/polish small port would net tiny gains until a bigger turbo is used.
Hey well apparently when i ordered my samco hoses from vividracing.com on saturday they were in stock, they called me today and told me that they wouldn't have any in stock for another 6 weeks. i was going to pay $571
I can't find any other places for less then that. Could someone lend a hand and help me search for the cheapest pricing on the samco turbo hoses.
