Yesterday I purchased a 2001 A4 1.8T FWD for $1000. The problem with the car is the transmission. The car runs and does drive, but I believe the torque converter is bad. I cant wait to get the car fixed. I bought this car for my wife, I already have a 97 B5 1.8T for myself. I purchased it for $600 and dropped a used engine in for another $350. I love coming up on deals like this. I think this definitely makes me an Audi Freak!!!

Thank you for the compliments and admiration I have the same questions regarding the Interior Trim. The door sills have the same trim with Audi imprinted.

 

its a sport package car. should have the audi thing on the door jam trim. nice pickup. can't beat that price for sure.

 

Use the change in the console to fix the trans.

Looks to be a stick on. There is a seam above the glove box where there shouldn't be one and there is a cut out for the quattro badge, but since he is FWD he didn't have a quattro badge in that spot on the stock trim.
