Default Immobilizer Problem?

I have the strangest issue im not sure as to what is causing it...

Basically my key doesnt seem to lock or unlock the car....my doors alarm led's are not flashing when locked and I can only get into the passenger side door with my key the driver side wont unlock. Once inside the car the lock and unlock buttons between the seats wont lock or unlock the doors and the alarm disabler button wont work either.

I can drive the car normally and everything else seems to work fine (lights, fogs, air conditioning, heat, seat warmers, radio, cd player, etc.)

anyone ever have this issue???

It wont unlock with the remote or manually?

When you open the doors does it register in the cluster display

Maybe looking at a new comfort module

Well I finally got the alarm system to function now when I manually lock and unlock the doors everything seems to work as it should but the remote still doesnt work so I replaced the battery and now it needs to be reprogrammed.

my only problem is I only have 1 - 3 button key and a valet key is there a way to reprogram my one key without taking it to the dealer?

Try this

Turn ign on with valet key

Insert 3 button key in lock

Turn to lock position and press and hold the lock button for a few seconds

If it works the side marker and parking lights will flash

You actually press the button 1,2,3,4 times depending on which remote position you want to program. There are multiple postions available in the control module.
