I just go tan APR chip with the 93 octane program. I'm amazed by the difference in power. It does not even feel like the same car. Does anyone have the EMCS? If so how difficult is that to use and what are the benefits of having it?

I wanna get an APR chip, but sometimes I can't get 93 octane (91 then)
Is this bad if I get a 93 chip?

to answer your question ^^^ you can get a 91 octane chip if you dont have 93 in your area

i also noticed the diff when i got my 93 apr chip, its awesome!

 

well, I have always been able to put 93 in my car, but my question is if putting 91 in there would hurt it? like once in a year.
I do a 1000 mile road trip twice a year and at some stops 91 is all they have.

they were offering that free when i got mine done, so i got the stock/93, might wanna see if they are still doing it!

 

i got my apr93 and i got a deal on the programs. i got the lockout 2. i dont want the dealership seeing what i got going on. 100k mile warranty . its worth it for the extra programs. most of the time, apr runs specials with extra programs.

 

Getting the ECU flashed with the 93 program does make a big difference. Running 91 when needed does not seem to make much impact.

 

My trip to Denver brought me out of my 93 oct. friendly home area, I stocked a bunch of octane booster in the car, and if I could only fill with 91, I would add some booster.
