I read the other day that a slightly modded 2.0T TT was giving a Cayman S a run for it's money around a track.
Damn, where'd you see that? Keeping up with a Cayman S is quite an accomplishment.
Not when theres turns in that track and a skilled driver at the helm of the underpowered car. A lil racing knowledge for you.
SMOOTH=SLOW
SLOW=FAST
FAST=WIN
IT's a lot more demanding keeping 400+ at the wheel in check then 200. It allows you to drive more toward that edge without the worry of getting bitten back. On that note a 1990 Miata with coilovers woulda prob lapped em both.

Get yourself some Blizzaks and the Quattro and your Winter will be fine, I drive mine every day year round in MN, and park my FWD for the Winters! The turbo is a blast, and I would suggest not getting the 3.2 as others have mentioned!

It's a no brainer, however, I imagine if you asked the same question on a BMW Forum the answers might be a little different.

Slow=fast huh? Now I see how you could think a Miata would lap a Cayman S. Thanks for the racing knowledge.
