Default ko3/ko4 hybrid questions

I was just wondering if it was worth upgrading my ko3s to ko3 hybrid using the ko4-23 cartiage.
Also would I need to upgrade the injectors? would my Giac 93 software work fine with the hybrid turbo and if not what software file is needed?

Thanks for the help!

Udo at MJM turbo told me he has done many, all he does is machine the housing to make it fit. He charges $695 for the conversion.

the housings are to small (both sides) to take full advantage of the larger wheels. Flow would suck and the power would only net you what you could get with a ko4-001. You can do a ko4-001 in a k03 frame but it would only cost about $100 more for a REAL ko4-001.

Thanks for the infor,

Udo at MJM told me that you would get alittle more power then a KO4-23at the bottom end because the inlet was smaller and it would make more pressure, he also told me because the turbinewheel was smaller it wouldspin up faster? he said you would see about 40hp gain.

it would be like a frankenstien ko4-001. Just get a true version and be done with it. not going to make huge hp gain (maybe 25 give or take), but a good amount of torque. all the a4 guys seem to love them then all the vw and TT people.
