You can locate it to any one of the many lines coming from under the intake manifold. The dv comes from a single line under the intake manifold and breaks off into the egr, vac res on the valve cover, dv and one tiny line that is capped on my ATC car and im sure on others. You can tap into any one of them, but i would just do the dv line since its right outside the gasket or you can remove the vac res and use that line for the gauge

After re-gapping the plugs and moving the boost gauge line away from the FPR, I'm definitely getting better gas mileage, but haven't been able to reset codes and see what happens. I do notice a slight hiccup when under heavy acceleration.

Say I'm shifting from 4th to 5th, I'll shift, floor it, and in a span of a couple seconds in does:
Accelerate-->putt putt-->accelerate

The "putt putt" part takes about as long is it takes for you to say it, just takes the acceleration a second to catch up to where I want it. Any signifigance? or not mean much until I can clear codes and test it?

Also, since cleaning the battery terminal, re-gapping the plugs, and switching the gauge line off the FPR, I haven't experienced the horrid cold starts I had been experiencing.

i noticed the same 'putt putt' after regapping my plugs to 0.28 and putting brand new colder NGk's in, i will be putting the old ones back in to see if it goes away to eliminate any chance of it being the plugs etc.... i also have an intermittent O2 sensor which may be the culprit so check your codes again

Fyi, experienced the bad cold start this morning, so that problem is still there....as far as the 'putt putt' - it's been there before I re-gapped the plugs as well.

Been messing around looking for things, but still haven't found anything. However, there is another symptom I'm having.

Randomly, the car won't start after it's been sitting for a while. I'll turn the key, and before I try to start it, I hear no sounds. When I turn the key, it does nothing. After doing this several times, I'll turn the key and hear the fuel pump prime itself, and then the very next key turn will start the key. I noticed that when it doesn't start, before I turn the key, the "Check Engine" and "ABS" lights flash (and I assume this means something).

First, what does the flashing lights mean. Second, is the fuel pump not engaging, thus stopping the car from starting, or is it just something more general and the fuel pump is a part of the grand scheme of things? Thanks
