looking to make the transition A4-->TT
so i have a B5 A4 right now, but im def gonna get a TT in the future. Anything i need to be looking for when buying a used TT (180 or 225, not the 250. I want a turbo)
Timing belt at 60K, make sure it's been done if the car is at 60 or higher. Usually the water pump with the timing belt too, the factory ones have plastic impellers, and they crack/fly apart. Look for regular maintainance, haldex oil should be changed every 20K. Older models, had problems with the instrument clusters, they sometimes needed to be replaced. Out of pocket, that can be 700 bucks. So if you can find a 2K3 or newer, you might be able to avoid that problem
