Default MAF sensor...

what's up everybody? is there a way to "trick" the computer into thinking the MAF sensor is good by jumping the end with a resistor or something? i really don't want to buy one, but i'm gettin sick of "limp" mode. Cincy, you seem to know the car pretty well...would this be possible?

thanks to everybody in advance!

i've tried cleaning it several times--i still get the CEL after the engine runs long enough to pick it back up. how much you want for that MAF, meanaudi?
