my MK1 will not pass smog....well let me be more specific.....it will not communicate with the smog machine sop it can not be tested at all. Ive been told that because my battery died before and i replaced it that it reset the ECU. then i was told that it needs to be driven so that the ECU can be reset and send out a signal......is this true?
