It takes only a few minutes.
One thing I would seriously recommend would be to test the Forge DV first.
I bought mine used and assumed it was good but my O-rings were done.

I'm pretty inexperienced with mechanical stuff and it took me about 45 seconds to change my DV.... once I got the plastic engine cover off anyways.
