[IMG]hello everyone . i have a 2002 audi TT QUATTRO WITH 72000 [/IMG] miles i recently changed the multy rib belt because i kept hearing this weird noise in the engine, but after y changed ,the noise is the same ... i went under the car, and , i thiNK the noise is coming from the pulleys... ? shoudl i change the pulleys?
( the noise is similar is like cla cla cla..) oooo and as a matter of fact i tooked the car to the dealer, they say the noise was coming from the belt and it was in bad condition, which it wasn't true ( i change the belt myself ) .. please gys what should i do?

 

Hmm well good luck with that one, I dont know the only thing that I would think of is if some bolt is lose maybe or something is rubbing in a certain spot. Other than that take it back in and ask them WTF? Let us know what happens. Good Luck.

 

this sounds like the serp belt/ fan belt as some call it and tensioner change them both
