was this whinning when the climate control was in use? like ac or heat?

 

It occurred right after I started the ignition and ceased. I think most instances the climate control was on, but I can't be certain about it.

 

well if its there on start up then goes away it was mostly likely the secondary air injection pump....mostly for emissons

 

So, I just wanted to ask the forum one last time about my original question: does anyone on here have any concerns about the general reliability/maintenance/repairs for the TT at the 100K miles mark? I read in a recent review for the new '08 TTs that the original was "plagued by reliability problems", so I know it's not just my mechanics that think this.

i dont know whats wrong with my climate control. when i turn it on andif i put it like to my feet the driver side vent still shoots out air and i have to close it so it wont come out. i think its electrical or something

 

I don't know but if you sell it, sell me your battery cover first. I'll give you $50 for the stock cover. lol
