Track and Drag racing are very...VERY differnt things.

 

I need a friggin pointer on how to launch this POS. Is there a way to get past the slow motion take-offs that this car tries to do if you just gun it off the line?

I can dump the clutch but then I'm just screwing up my transmission.

 

Steal a couple of plug wires off his car.. that will help even the score.

 

2 should be plenty... I had that experience tonight.

I was bad tonight. Coming home from visiting my mother in Pennsylvania there is this huge hill. By the top of it semi's are only able to pull about 30 mph up it (65 zone). I saw this v6 trans am / firechicken. I decided to play a little, dropped into 4th as I came up next to him. He saw me andstepped on it. I let him get a half car up, stepped on it and shut him down. After I realized it was totally unfair I tried the same in 6th gear (still uphill) with the same result.


Best part:
He was pissed about how slow his car was, so after the hill goes back downhill, and I had slowed to the speed limit he decided to show me his wicked top speed as he blew by me... lmao. 1 minute later the firechicken was being followed by NY state police, lights flashing. Luck was on my side this time.
