good thing your alright man hope you have a goodrecovery....yea i remeber when a truck reversed into the driver side front end of my tt the fender smashed end almost broke an axle but luckily i wasnt in the car....get a 225 =]

 

damn damn damn... well enough said. But hey did you get a chance to use the first aid kit. I have been lookin for an opportune time to use mine. hey totaling a car isn't all bad news, now you get to go car shopping, and hopefully this can be a time to upgrade to a nicer car. Best of luck!

Theres a 2001 225 in the syracuse craigslist, I'm gonna email the guy and see if he's had much interest in it, I dont know how long it'll be until Allstate cuts a check, I'd hate to miss out. Unfortunately though, I don't know if I'll be able to afford insurance on another nice car now. This is my 3rd claim in 3 years, this, and the A4 make 2 total loss claims. Insurance companies don't like to see that. Either its gonna be sky high, or I won't be able to get insurance at all.

BTW, I think my bruising is under control now. Looks alot better now, doesn't it?

By any chance would you be able to part out the map/reading lights?

mine decided to stop working so I tried to take it out and pried it out from the back where the switches are. I didnt realize thats where the holding tabs are also! So I broke them all... so now I have a maplight switch that doesnt work annnnd doesnt stay in anymore.... itjustpretty muchhangsthere likea bad decoration!

no pics of the car yet, maybe i'll get out there tomorrow. my back has been pretty sore, i'm self medicating on darvocet from a old prescription when it gets too bad, you def dont want to be driving on that stuff.

 

so this is my first post on this forum. i really like the closeness on this one. most of them don't have new posts for weeks. not sure how far you'd want to go to get another TT, but we have a couple down here in bristol, tn. one is a roadster and one is the coupe-both silver like yours. not sure about the roadster, but i know the coupe has been modded already. you can see a huge fmic from the road. the link will take you to the roadster(i hope).
