Default Is my DV leaking boost??!!

So ever since i replace the turbo in my car, when i step on the gas and going boost, my car seems to be hesitating.
Just now i took a buddy around the block after switching my modshack airintake for a shroom filter, and i was able to actualy hear my DV(turbo xs) seem to be sputtering as the boost increased. So im not sure if its holding the boost very well but that was my impression.
Besides that the car runs great, just doesn't hold up the boost is what its sounding like to me. WHat do you think?

Heh, yeah your Turbo XS has a HUGE leak... directly into the atmosphere!

I don't have any BOV experience, but is it adjustable?
If it's releasing while you're still on the gas, you'll need to stiffen it up so boost is held until you let go of the gas.

Why don't you have a boost gauge? That's the fastest way to tell if you have a boost leak.

I would get rid of the BOV (turbo xs) and get yourself a good DV like the Forge 007P.
Much more reliable and they work a heck of a lot better than those PFFT valves [8D]

Also to smooth out hesitation off the line you can get yourself a MBC or a Boost Machine.
You can adjust the bleed off and the oncome of the boost and smooth things out quite a bit.

You must have one of the Hybrid valves, again I don't know much about them.
Is it adjustable in anyway?

Well, the TT wasn't designed for a bov and will cause problems unless specifially modified for one. Cincy knows how to do it, but it you just replace your stock dv with a bov that could be what's causing your problems.

A hybrid valve recirculates under low pressure, and releases to the atmosphere under high pressure. ...I think
So it does it's job just fine. Like I said if it's adjustable you'll want to stiffen up the recirculating part so it holds longer.

Click

I'm sure you could pick up some washers at home depot or lowes.
It'd be cheaper than buying a new valve... Your decision though, good luck!
