Default my first mod: Boost gauge

Hi guys: I am in the market for my boost gauge.
AWE gauge is too expensive for me. so here is my pick, Sport Comp II
I will put it in the center vent (left) and is this package come with everything I need to install?
Thanks!

How sealed is that Garrett gauge? Plan A was to build a laptop into the car and use Vag to get boost numbers, but if I decide its too much work, or it doesn't go as planned, Plan B will be that gauge, with what used to be a fuel gauge needle from a cluster reborn as a boost gauge needle. Can the gauge be opened?

I guess with enough work. Someone on vortex has a TT needle in his gauge. Suppose you could doit to. Would look REALLY stock if you did that

Thats the plan.

Stilljester on AW took my old cluster gauge face awhile back for research purposes, was gonna try to get boost gauge faces that matched the cluster face. That plan fell through though, there are no matching gauge faces, and my cluster face is back on my kitchen counter. I'd still like to see that though.

electric wire? chip for headlight wire?

You lost me.

If you're asking if it has a power wire to run the backlighting, I'm gonna guess yes. Chip for headlight wire.... still lost..... hook the wires for power from the gauge into switched (from the headlight switch) power, and the gauge will turn on when the headlights are on. OR, run to ignition switched power like I would, so your gauge is on whenever the car is on.
