2002 TT Quattro

-Front Inner CV boot torn
-Have new CV boot kit

Is this a DIYer job? Should Ialso do the Outer CV boot? Any special tools needed for getting to the Inner or Outer boot?? If a special tool is needed, what type, specifically?

I do not mind spending the $$$ to get the proper tools, for I figure the newly acquired knowledge is money in the bank.

I was told that it should be under warranty from the dealership. Call them up and see if they'll do it for free. They did my friends cv boot for nothing.

my boots have been ripped for quite some time (both fronts). ehh.. i'll fix it sometime
