Need help cant boost past 19psi
So this all started when I pulled the cover off my VTDA. I cant seem to boost past 19psi. I have removed my N249 and SAI, EVAP and PCV systems. So there are alot less places and lines to be losing boost thru. I have replaced all the other lines with new ones and good clams since the OEM clamps dont like to hold to well, I dont think. I have changed my DV spring to the following with the same problems that happen all the time.
Yellow spring
Yellow spring w/ shim
Blue spring
Also I have taken the BM out of the loop thinking that might be the problem also. It didnt help. I have not gotten my intake pressure tested, but im wondering if anyone had any other idea on why I keep boost hard all the way to 19psi then it sounds like my DV studders 5 or 6 times letting off boost untill about 17psi then boost starts to slowly bleed boost off. Any thoughts?

I dont know what the problem is but Mine did the same thing when I changed springs. It eventually just went away. Maybe the springs loosened up a little after a while and made it the correct "springyness"?
that nipple is just a vac source. its wierd that your having that problem. sounds just like Kyle(listentothebeat) he bought a lemon 225 and has a similar issue with the DV fluttering. i;ve yet to remove all that stuff....been to busy lately....Erin you didnt take any pics did you? how close is the 225 to that which is in Savokos thread
Its close but the most of the SAI stuff is just a bit different. Its not hard, the main thing is the hardlines that are also connected to soft lines, that he pulled out we dont have to do that on ours. I didnt take any pics at all. Just follow the lines and you will be good to go.
