I wanna see pictures too!
I have another idea for ya'll!! Take some spray on tint and put 2.. Maybe 3 coats on. And it will make em look like black chrome! I'm going to do that to the vent rings and the radio TT cover ( when I ever get more spray tint!!)

I know. I know.. I went to the dealership to test fit on Sunday. I couldn't get either vent to fit without pushing hard/shaving the mount area. I haven't had my car in a week. I didn't take any pictures yet because I couldn't take a GOOD picture. I have a **** LOAD of A3 owners interested. So when I finaly get my car back(should be tomorrow), I will seal the deal on this, and make it happen. I will take pics when I get them mounted properly. I'm chomping at the bit to trade out these ugly metal bezels. The small metal trim ring on the A3 vents matches the TTs interior MUCH better!

That's a good idea! Make sure you prime them well. The primer used for aluminum is different than nomal primer(the paint will flake badly otherwise). Also, masking the vents would be a BITCH! It's almost worth it to just trade them out.

No primer. Just scoff them up(wetsand 600grit). primer would take away from the aluminum shine there for no black chrome... Tapping would be easy too.. Gotta remember I do auto body work!! ;-)

** there is a clear primer were you don't have to scoff. But its crap.

Hope tho's a3 rings fit well for ya. The tt rings get so damn hot in the summer. Same with the tt radio cover.
