New paint?

I'm sure i'll be shunned by OuTTie914 for thinking silver is a boring bland color

*AHEM* Even though I have video evidence backing up my word *AHEM*

Oh yeah and silver does hide blemishes quite well...
Take this picture for example (non-photoshopped)

You cannot see any of the nasty scratches from shopping carts/car doors, that are behind the passenger side door!
$hit you can't even tell that the center caps (now replaced btw) are badly damaged!
PLUS, only sliver looks this good with a crappy camera phone!

(In all honesty, I really do love all of the wonderful TT's, no matter the color!)

My TT was silver to begin with and it looked a little dull as far as the shine went so I wanted to get some luster to it so I had it painted again the same color but I had some white and blue ice thrown into the paint too. The ice is really tiny bits of mirrors and when light hits it it kinda sparkles like a diamond when hit the right way. It doesnt always shine like metallic but just when the light hits it right. So I paid $1200 to have this done and they didnt have to treat it like a complete color change just kinda an outside job with things cracked open. All i n all the car has a little more shine and some sparkle to it. I had pics of it but old computer crashed and I built a new one so if you want to see my pics they are on anather post from me.
Here is a picture of my 02 180TT.
I wish i still had this car it only had 32K miles on it.
I like the 225 much better in power just wish this 225 had the miles of my old 180. haha
Silver sure does stay clean.

My car is denim(duh), and nothing comes close for a total package with the matched denim leather interior.
For exterior colors its a tie between the denim and whatever the name is of the red color they used on the TT's. Weve got an ALMS silver one with a red leather interior in the shop now that looks ok but would look better with the red paint (the one I saw had black interior, still nice). White is also very classy.
If your going to pay for a color change you would be better of mixing your own color or using some off the wall color from another manufacturer, so at least you get a one of a kind car out of the investment.
