smooth walls are actually bad.. you want some disturbance along the edges so that a small cushion of air lines the tube. this allows for the air down the middle to move better with less turbulence.
i think i read/saw that somewhere.

intersting cincy, still would be nice to cehck out the pics. i always thought that the metal pipes heat up more than the silicone? are the inner walls not smoother too.. i thought that is why silicone became popular over steel. uber smooth for better airflow.

personally i HATE the look of shiny stainless in the engine bay.. ewww.. im more of a clean stock lookin car. still interested in the fmic idea but, not so thrilled about metal pipes.
example, i have for TIP, got it black .. so looks stock. DV Black so looks stock etc. if the price is right then, it really doesnt matter. then i will have to go with the silver silicone vacuum hoses instead of black to match the piping.
could the pipes be painted a flat bacl cincy? or will it not hold under heat?
You can easily use some paint on them. Wont effect performance at all. Also right now im not planning on usuing high polished pipes. Be dull like the 225 uppercharge pipe

It would be bad for business if they didn't say that wouldn't it?

i hear what you guys have to say but, after reading the forge/samco/Apr Tip info they basically state that the silicone has better air flow.

by what you say i agree but, by that virtue, ever1 and any1 is loading you up for the VTDA special
(that one is for you cincy)
ok so the scripting on the forum is messed up, wouldnt post my last message either.
Cincy - will the IC be able to be upradable- lets say you get Kit 1 (smaller) and eventually you hit 350+WHP ---- by this you mean FWHP right, so us with AWHP will need the larger one to hit the WHP #s you are thinking of? --
so i pass the efficiency of kit 1 and i need to change my IC, will we need to buy a complete kit 2 or will we be able to just upgrade the IC and retain the same piping?
what are your ideas with that ?
