F1's are very popular in the modding / high performance scene in Europe and as such are a prety expensive tire, there are a few different versions of them though so its always good to make a note of which one you have? GD1, GD3, etc...

i ended up buying yokohama s drives 225/35/18 all around..

didnt want to pay 200+ per wheel.

i will be driving it tonight =D

i'll let you guys know how they feel.

hell yea lets do it! tt drive? i dont know where GMR is. or what it is. i usually go angeles crest or in arcadia's chantry flats.

mark organize this. and get calvin to come to.

^ haha GMR = glendora mountain road. as for angeles crest, i'm never going back there since i spun out at the base of mt. wilson and hit a sign haha. never again.

but i'm down for whatever, but more so if beer's involved =)

I run 18/225/40 Pzero Nero all seasons. Got'em for $135 a piece at TireRack.
Tons of grip, amazing difference over stock. Amazing wet traction too.
I laugh at ppl slowing down on the highway when it starts raining now.
Pretty compfy for a 40 mm tire too. Overall I am very stisfied with these tires.

Side note: Has anyone done a staggered setup with wider tires up front?

^ i dont see the benefit of that unless you're a FWD TT that lights the strip up often

Handling.
More grip up front will reduce understeer, and that's a good thing even on the quattro's.
