eibach pro kit with 15/20mm spacers ...can still see a little gap though but definetly better then stock

They are 18*18.5 and 35 seriestires no spacers, the tires were already on the wheels, i will go 45 serieswith my next purchase, and it will deff. look better. thats why i said"PLEASE no wheel gap comments" oh well just give it time and it will look good. i dont have the moneyto do it all at once. come on murder cut me a little slack man...

wheel gap doesn't change between a 17in and 18in wheel if you properly size the tires. The rolling circumference shouldn't change and that means the gap doesn't change. It only looks larger with the 18in wheel becasue there is less rubber to compare to.

If you go a larger sidewall size you throw off your odometer and spedo.

I went from 225/45/17 to 225/40/18

that doesn't make it correct. There has to be someone that knows what exact size would be needed to correctly compensate for the larger rim? Or is it not really a big enough deal to notice a difference?

Yes, a 225/40/18 is the size audi specs w/ stock 18's (the sevens, rs4's).... I think you're wheel gap looks even more pronounced with the 35's
