wheel gap doesn't change between a 17in and 18in wheel if you properly size the tires. The rolling circumference shouldn't change and that means the gap doesn't change. It only looks larger with the 18in wheel becasue there is less rubber to compare to.
If you go a larger sidewall size you throw off your odometer and spedo.

agreed..i thought 20mm would be perfect but i was wrong...maybe i'll pick up 25mm set for the rears in the future
wheels are 18X8 Axis Decades ET35, you should look up the model with the maxis rear lip, i think they are still 18x8 with rear lip for staggered look...
