Default Newbie to TTs

Hi all just picked up my 2002 TT from garage today its my 1st TT but my 4th Audi so I know the reliability and build quality "fantastic"

I have owned 2 80s and 2 A4s but 3 years ago decided to move onto something different and went onto a Renault Meguan sports hatch a real change with loads of extras, Big error I loved the car and all its gadgets but was never as happy as I ever was with the previous Audis for build quality so I decided in January time for a TT and spent 2 months looking around until I found the right one.

Loads of questions for you guys on here but heres the 1st one: I have 2 keys and they both open and lock the doors with the remote buttons but neither will unlock the hatch is there something I need to do with this to allow it to unlock the hatch as its a bummer having to climb in and unlock it with the switch in the center consol every time I need in the hatch.

Can I also say I had to travel 100 miles for this car and having driven it back its without a doubt the best car I have driven, after 10 miles you become part of the car everything is surrounding you and you just get the feeling of being part of it (or perhaps thats the heated seats causing that) no seriously its a reall drivers car no rattles or creaks just a solid car with the best looks around.

Cheers

Donald

If you hold down the trunk button for a few seconds it will open. Had the same problem. Hope this helps

I was gonna say the same, but I figure if he said he's had a few Audi's before, he would know about that. Who knows though.
