Oil Additives

Changed Mobil1 Oil and Filter today. Something posessed me to also buy and add Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer. Summer heat coming on and all. Anyone have experience with this or similar products? Thoughts?

Syn oil is already as good as you need to protect the engine, no reason to add any additives to it.
