I have a hard time doing this, but I would suggest just going to the dealer and buying several at a time. Because of the washer, the OEM plugs should be replaced with each oil change.

The valve might leak too. I had a fram e-z drain deal once and it was cool at first, expect overtime when it got dirty it was hard to use.

Hey, I have a leaky oil plug also and I'm sure it is probably the aluminum pan and not the plug. However, I can snug it up pretty good and put a little rubber sealant around it to stop the leak. Any reason I could not replace the plug with the quick oil drain plug mentioned above and seal with rubber sealant... Better yet, I guess I could just make it permanent with JB WELD???

Any reason you resurrected a 4 month old thread?

he's sorta got a question....

i'd seal up a quick drain plug as a fix, but not so permanent that you couldn't remove it again if you needed to.
