Default Performance, Summer tire options

So I am a cheap skate, and feel no need or desire to spend a grip of ducats on summer tires. I have had general uhp tires on my fat fives, and largely they are fine except the wet performance leaves a little to be desired. I picked up some super sevens, and so will need new tires. I dont want to spend over 600 on tires. Prices are b4 shipping, mounting/balancing. Frankly, putting 200 to spacers or other mods and maintenance over the better tires is my preference...
I was looking at
225/40ZR18 XL Yokohama S.drive Blackwall $552.00
225/40ZR18 Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval 556
225/40ZR18 XL General Exclaim UHP Blackwall $360.00
225/40ZR18 XL Kumho Ecsta SPT Blackwall 388
225/40ZR18 falken ziex 912a 412 shipped!

Thoughts? thanks

Really sucks for you guys living back east. Needing to have winter tires, summer tires. Here in Cali, one tire for all seasons. Those prices do not include install, pretty expensive.

Yeah I agree, but trying to save money by not getting winter tires = teh dumbz haha. I already have a winter steelie set, and I a going to sell my fat fives, which will cover most of the tire cost. Mount balance is prolly going to be another 80-100 :-(

The kuhmo asx's have great dry and wet weather performance. The SPT's should be a good choice since they should be softer. Think Ryan had them on his TT before he got rid of it for the S4 and can add in more on them.

apparently radial GT (champiro 328's) have been good on me. took em hard around corners and they're pretty grippy.

but alas, i'm gonna have to vouch for falken ziex's (from the 512 to the new 912's). they've always been good to me~
