Well back to the pillar pod issue, if you go to ttstuff.com and check out their pods and gauges section they sell a supra a pillar gauge pod (single and double) they say that is the best fit but may need to be heated up slightly with a hairdryer to fit. I dont know exactly but this is the only thing that I have found without bringing your pillar and a universal pod to a shop and have them custom fiberglass it. That is all that I have found, and I have been looking for awhile.

or get a a-pillar pod for a toyota supra, and a heat gun. Soften it up, press it to teh pillar, and let it cool. it'll hold the shape. the supra is about as close as a match as you can get. I'll try to get a pic of mine. Its not finished, but it does the job.

ahhhh! I wish I read a little further while at the ttstuff website -- that is, before I ordered an ugly part that I didn't really want!

I'll be changing my order to that supra pod ASAP!

Theres a shop out by me who has done a-pillar pods (SEE HERE and HERE)
They are Supreme Power Parts in Anaheim, CA. Ive been to this shop but havent had any work done there so I cant comment on it. I can tell you that they have had a hard time matching the light grey a-pillars cloth.

Ive also seen links to a DIY custom fiberglass a-pillar pod that turned out well.

Hope it helps...

If anybody wants a supra a pillar pod with 2 gauge openings let me know my buddy with the supra is selling his after i convinced him that look is to ricy. i think he'll sell it for around 30 40 bucks. but yeah all you have to do is get a heat gun (hair dryers wont work unless you got that one from the movie Spaceballs)

Thanks for this thread! I just changed my order from TTStuff... got the supra pillar pod for 29.99, and got to change it before my pod shipped!

I don't have a heat gun, but I do have a portable propane-burner. I hope I don't screw it up, lol.

Should look pretty good with my Sport Comp guages! I'm gonna make the pod the color of the vent rings... I'll post pix when it's finally complete!

heheh, you should be ok with the propane, I used an acetylene cutting torch. "Overkill" is not in my vocabulary, except to say "Overkill" is not in my vocabulary" : )

LOL well, things tend to get interesting when it comes to me and fire. I suspect I wouldn't be venturing too far to say it's likely the same with you, achTTung?
