Default Porsche Door latch in TT

I have been debating whether or not to swap out the little switch on my TT because of it always saying the door is open and I am tired of it cracking the window in the car wash :/

Anyway after doing a little price shopping I found out that the door latch in the Porsche 911 has the exact same part numbers as the mk1 tt latches.... and its only 150$ at the dealer instead of 330$. So I bought one and I have been comparing it to pictures of the Audi version and can see some minor differences but nothing that should interfere with the mounting and operation of the unit. Im going to install it tomorrow but I dont expect any difficulties. WTF is up with the 180$ price difference for the same part? Hell, they are both made in Czech Republic!

Audi version: Audi TT MKI Quattro 180HP Exterior Body Door Latch - 8n1837015c - Door Latch Assembly - Left - ES#5664

Porsche version: Search SiteSearch 8N1837015C - 8N1837015C - Door Lock Assembly - ES#1374338

I can stomach 150$ for a latch assembly but 330$ is robbery. Best part is the vw/audi/porsche dealer had a porsche one in stock but not an audi one haha.
