My car did not indicate when keys were left in ignition , indicate lights were on when door opened or light up when I opened the door .. turned out to be the micro switch in the drivers latch .
I guess i could get a replacement latch from a wreckers if I could find one. The microswitch is a sealed Burgess switch . has anyone been able to find a suitable replacement that will fit the standard mount or is the way to go to just get any switch and JB weld it in there ?

 

Think I found the exact switch .. of course it is 5.00 for the switch and thye only want 20.00 to ship it to me .. oh well .. at least maybe I have helped someone else ..

found it in a few places .. digikey has the one with an actuator arm you can remove 213 I think .. but I guess I iwll have to wait till I have another order..
