Default Price to install rods?

How many hours should it take to install rods in a 1.8t?

It will be a good 8 hour job depending on the person doing them and if they leave the engine in the car or not. In the end you are looking at spending $1000-1200 for all the parts (rods, head bolts, oil pan sealent, head and valve cover gaskets etc) and labor.

cincy those prices are for stock rods rite? cause good rods themselves can coast that much. i was gonna do rods in my car but then i found out they really really expensive. i've also heard that is all we really have to do so we can slap a gt30r and push some real hp

Scat and IE H-beam rods are only $320-350. Both have never been broken with power and have seen over 600whp. The rods are the only weak point in the motor, everything else will hold fine
