I had a similar problem but mine was just bad gas... so I put some fresh gas in and a new fuel filter just for kicks and now its starts up like a champ.

I think all 225's have that problem..Turn the key to on for 1-2 seconds before you turn over.... you will here the fuel pump start....once the fuel pressure is up you shouldnt have that problem.

I have an 01 225 and never wait. never had a cel yet either. I do read high temps in traffic though. I have a new greentop in my glovebox. just havent installed yet.

but yea, still never had a failed start in 3 yrs
