Default Quick stupid question- Bushings

Finally getting around to ridding the damn suspension creaking. I want to get the Powerflex bushings from ttstuff. Are these bushings meant for the OEM mount, or do I need a new mount as well? Im very tired and getting slightly confused when reading both of the Powerflex description and the Energy Suspension bushings underneath it. It seems this is an easy install, right? Also, should I buy the bolts? I mean 12 bucks for 4 bolts sounds ridiculous when I live less than a mile from Home Depot. Thanks in advance.

Suspension creaking? That's your swaybar bushings. Sounds like what you're talking about is the dogbone engine mount bushings.

Look in the suspension section on TTstuff...

Hm never heard of that being a cause of creaking, but if you wanna get them go ahead.

I bought the Energy Suspension ones off TTstuff and after a few months I took them out because the vibration shook everything in my car. It felt nice but the vibration was annoying and embarassing. Put the stock ones and ahhh my engine is tranquil once again. You really notice the difference in stiffness the uprated bushings make when you put the stock ones back in.

Maybe PowerFlex isn't as horrible. I bought the stretch bolt kit...which in my case was a good move. When I first installed mine I didn't torque them enough and one of the bolts flew out, lol. I went out and bought a torque wrench replaced the missing one and torqued them right and it's been fine for months.

Thanks for the heads-up on the vibration. Now I might just order the OEM dogbone bushing, and polyurethane everything else that needs to be polyurethaned.

i have the ecs(same as energy suspension i believe) the vibration isnt bad, did you put the circular transmission mount in? that causes a lot of vibration, thats why they recommend not putting that bushing in.
