Coming from the DSM community the level of mis-understanding in the Audi community is astounding.

He doesn't get why we don't put a quart of oil in our car every time we fill the tank...
Common DSM knowledge shows that every 10 gallons of gas must be burned with 1 quart of synthetic oil.

Guys. This thread was about the Race N75. A guy post a question about it. Then 3 people who obviously had never been in the same room with one responded they are less than a MBC and not worth while. I think that unless you have installed and ran something (part) on your own car do you deserve to post a response to it's performance. I have installed this part and it works great. Those whom compare this to any kind of boost controller are comparing apples to oranges. The n 75 has no control over peak boost. The ecu controls the peak boost. The n75 only manipulates the wastegate signal. Back in the day we used to put orifices in the wastgate line to slow down the signal. The race n 75 basically does the same thing.

Cincy: Go look at the boost curve posted at the ECS tuning website. You can't do a better curve with any extranious boost controller. And with an MBC you will never get consistent boost and timing. Clamp the MAS and I would hate to see what your logs look like.

And just for the record I would never compare a DSM to an Audi. There is a reason I gave up DSM's to be here. ALMS is what made me decide to go Audi. The r8 and r10 kicks everyone *** every year.

Im sorry but a boost controller, manual or electricis far better than a n75

I have installed this part and it works great. Those whom compare this to any kind of boost controller are comparing apples to oranges.

Glad you like it. And both regulate boost so that would make them both boost controllers. If you take out the n75, you would run off the wastegate, lowering the boost to 5psi and throwing the ecu into a panic.

The n 75 has no control over peak boost. The ecu controls the peak boost.

are you serious? That is the dumbest thing i have heard in a while here. Did you not jump a few psi by switching n75's? im gonna say you did.

The n75 only manipulates the wastegate signal. Deffinition of a BOOST CONTROLLER

Im sorry, whats a MAS? you certainly talk a bunch of ****.... nm, makes sense since you talk out of your ***. But you will never get the kind of reaction time out of a n75 as you will with a mbc/ebc and you wont hold as much boost in higher rpms as with a mbc/ebc.
Seriously, you really need to read more and talk less. If you really want to talk/act like this, you REALLY should join audiworld, where they rub each others ballsand talk about how much better audi owners than the rest of us.
