Default RE: Race N75?

I am glad that this question was asked. I was just looking at the n75 this morning and was wondering if it was worth the $85. Glad that I haven't since...............
I am new to the Audi world, bought a 01, 225q w/47K miles on it in Jan this year for 17K. Couldn't beat the price and what the car was, I LOVE IT! I too was a DSMer. I had a 97 GST Spyder w/ a Big T28 turbo and supporting mods, nice and quick.
I have an unused Halman MBC from my Eclipse that I never got around to installing.I don't see it being that difficult to install on the TT, so from what I have read it would be better to use than the N75? I need to search for a write up. My car is chipped so, cincy you are recommending this route it seems.

Erin, you having boost machine regret? Btw i stillbelieve they do that on AW
No I dont regret anything that I do,and honestly the extra few dollars that I could of saved really wouldnt ofbeen able to buy any majorupgrades for my TT. I am keeping my BM but when I go Big Turbo then I will be parting withit and staying with aMBC. Or hey I can be cooland get a EBC

cincy says--- "The n75 is a nonadjustable ebc that just bleeds off a little extra psi (usually about 3psi) but does cause problems with some chips, where as a mbc can be used with any chip."

this is why i went with the boost machine....hearing that it can cause problems with the chips....not so much my APR but still...i might give it a try and not run the boost machine...to test which i like better.
i'm still really happy with how my car performs and i still havn't done a brake upgrade or shocks/springs yet....then its autocross time!!!

The only mbc's i have seen from Halman are ball and spring's. You can start off by running it by itself, but you might want to also try runing it after the n75 because it might be smoother (again ball and spring).
