Default Recommended extended warranty companies?

As the certified pre-owned warranty on my '01is running out later this month, can anybody recommend a good 3rd partyextended warranty company that covers the car like the Audi warranty? Will they place a car on an extended warranty that is six years old but only 46k miles? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff

i would go with the savings account and preventitve maintence. Change your timing belt around 60k and do regular oil changes (full syn)/spark plugs and you should be good. I have just over 100k on mine and the only thing that i need is a new ac compressor.

I on the other hand have literally had to replace everything.

clutch/starter/water pump/timing belt/front left caliper/alternator/plugs....etc etc etc.

When ever I fix something, something goes wrong. - DOH!

most of the things listed are wear and tear items. The only things that MAY get covered under a warrenty is athe caliper and the alternator. The rest you are SOL on.
