Default Running rich

Ok I have a strange issue here. On accelerated warm ups mostly my car will back fire but with no flames. Im also throwing a code P1136 i think it was for being lean. Im confused here thought you only backfire when your running rich. Also it seems like my intake is sucking alot harder than normal like almost a loud huffing noise and right now i have the check engine light reset. But when its running in open loop the car seems to perform better. I know opon loop is basicly giving you the same all around gas all the time as flooring it.

If you dont have a cat, you can backfire easily. ALso on cold starts, the car dumps much more gas in, thats why you have a secondary air pump to recirculate the air and keep it environmentally friendly

F*** emissions.... Im looking to get rid of all this crap and just use what i need to make this engine run. There is no suck thing as a everyday driver and a moded fast car. And i want the 2 choice. But anywho I do have a cat so im still confused.

Then you still have more gas than it can burn. But if you remove those items you will no longer pass emissions, so if you live in a state with testing, your stuck.

Ya but there really isnt a way of getting caught. If pulled over and they find that you are not within emissions i can just say i modded afterwards get a fix it ticket and redo the whole smog and you dont have to visually show them just your new smog papers.

Plus if you spend over i like 4 or 5 grand on "emission related repairs" and it still doesnt pass then you just let you have your registration.
