Seafoam

I was wondering if it would be safe to use seafoam on a 2001 MK I to clean out build up in the block and also use it on the fuel system too

A can in a full gas tank, half a can in the crank case, half a can through a vacuum line on the intake (you can google how to do that), then change the oil when its time to fill the gas again.

Rear brake piston

So i was changing my rotors and pads on my TT today and I can't seem to get the piston to retract so I can put the new rotor and pads on any ideas

Rear calipers need to be screwed in while being compressed. Also, make sure you open the brake fluid reservoir when you're doing it. The right tool can be rented at almost any big box car parts store.

I did rent the tool and the problem is I need to get the piston retracted enough to get the tool in between the tool and the other side of the caliper.

wow... did you step on the breaks after you took the calipers off or something? I don't think I've ever seen them that extended before. Not sure what to tell you, other than, good luck.
